God has been faithful in every season of my life. In 2006, at just 22 years old, I came to the United States with hope, faith, and a dream for a better future. I didn't know what life would bring, and like many immigrants, I faced challenges, uncertainty, and moments when I felt overwhelmed. I was a young man trying to find my way in a new country. But through it all, I never let go of my trust in God. When I was weak, He gave me strength. When I was confused, He gave me direction. When I felt like I was drowning in life's storms, He reached down and pulled me out. By God's grace, I was able to complete my education, serve in the United States Army as an officer, and build a life I could have only dreamed of. God blessed me with an amazing wife and a beautiful family. Every blessing I have today is a testimony to His faithfulness. Life has not always been easy. There have been storms, hurricanes, earthquakes, and seasons that tested my faith. But I have learned that God never abandons me. No matter how difficult the situation, He always makes a way. He brings peace in the middle of the storm, restores what is broken, and puts us back on the right path. Looking back, I can clearly see God's hand guiding every step of my journey. His blessings are never ending, and His love never fails. If my story teaches anything, it is this: Trust God with all your heart. No matter what obstacles stand before you, nothing is impossible with Him. If He could bring me from uncertainty to purpose, from struggle to blessing, He can do the same for you. God is real. His promises are true. His timing is perfect. Keep your faith, trust in Him, and never give up because with God, the impossible becomes possible.

My testimony is one of heartbreak, brokenness, and God’s restoration. Everything changed the day I lost my mother in my arms. Just one week later, I gave birth to my daughter. Instead of experiencing the joy of becoming a mother, I was overwhelmed by grief. I fell into a deep depression and, rather than leaning on God, I turned to alcohol to numb the pain. What started as drinking to escape became an addiction that took control of my life. I found myself in and out of jail, making poor decisions, and giving my time and energy to everyone except the people who mattered most—my daughter and myself. The more I drank, the more people looked at me differently. Relationships fell apart. Friends walked away. Family grew distant. Eventually, I felt completely alone. My addiction cost me everything. I lost apartments, friendships, trust, financial stability, and found myself drowning in debt. I went from place to place, living in hotels and couch surfing while my grandparents cared for my daughter because I wasn’t in a position to be the mother she deserved. There came a point when I was tired—tired of the cycle, tired of jail, tired of watching my life fall apart. I cried out to God and asked Him to deliver me from alcohol so I could become the woman and mother He created me to be. God didn’t change me overnight, but He began changing my heart. He placed a mentor in my life who encouraged me to work out, believe in myself, and start rebuilding. There were times I slipped back into drinking, but God never gave up on me. Every setback reminded me that I needed Him more than my addiction. One day, I finally decided I was done living that life. I chose healing over hurt, discipline over destruction, and faith over fear. Today, by the grace of God, my life looks completely different. I have a home, a stable income, genuine friends, and restored relationships with my family. Most importantly, I am becoming the mother my daughter deserves and the woman God called me to be. My story is proof that no matter how far you’ve fallen, God’s grace reaches farther. He can restore what addiction destroyed, heal what grief has broken, and give purpose to your pain. If He did it for me, He can do it for anyone. To God be all the glory.

About three weeks ago, I experienced a serious medical crisis. The doctors were unsure of my condition, but they said I was showing signs of a stroke. I was unable to walk and could barely speak. After I had been unconscious for about three hours, my daughter called her minister and asked for prayer. By the grace of God, I woke up. The nurse was amazed and said she had never seen anything like it before. This experience reminded me that prayer is powerful, God is faithful, and healing still happens today.

Last year, sometime in January, I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown, overwhelmed by the many stresses in my life. During that time, God gave me a powerful vision of myself carrying large bags in my hands. Each bag was filled with bricks, and those bricks represented the burdens I was never meant to carry: shame, rejection, disappointment, anger, rage, sadness, fear, anxiety, unforgiveness, hurt, confusion, pain, frustration, hopelessness, guilt, regret, trauma, and even generational trauma. In that moment, I cried out to God and asked, “How can I get rid of this?” As I began to pray, He showed me that I needed to release every burden at His feet. Little by little, through prayer, worship, fasting, and reading the Bible, I started surrendering everything that had been weighing me down. It was not easy, but as I released it, God began to heal me. Confusion fled, clarity came, and peace and hope filled my heart. Through reading the Bible, I saw over and over again that God is still in the business of healing and restoring His people. Where life once felt heavy, stagnant, empty, and overwhelming, I began to feel hopeful again. Life started to feel meaningful and worth living. For so many years, I had been carrying burdens God never intended for me to hold. But in His mercy, He set me free. Fear, worry, doubt, sin, and pride no longer kept me bound. We serve an amazing God. By His grace, He saved me, healed me, restored me, and gave me a second chance to live. My story matters, and my testimony matters. It stands as proof that God still performs miracles, He still heals, and He lovingly calls us to come to Him so He can make us whole.
